Getting to and Around Ann Arbor

The distance between DTW airport and Ann Arbor is about 35 miles. The primary options for reaching Ann Arbor are by Uber/Lyft, taxi, or bus. Unfortunately there are no trains that run between Ann Arbor and the Detroit airport.

Taxis can be booked from the airport and cost anywhere between $45-$120.

For Uber or Lyft, follow airport signs for the meet-up locations for those services, which will be either on the ground ramp or parking deck (depending on the terminal).

The least expensive transit option is through the Michigan Flyer bus, which runs between both DTW airport terminals and the Blake Transit Center in downtown Ann Arbor. Reservations are required and can be made through the Michigan Flyer website. Ticket costs: $15
